Franklin Canyon Lake Park is a spacious 605-acre preservation located near the center of Los Angeles. The park is home to a beautiful man-made reservoir and a duck pond, aptly named Heavenly Pond. Five miles of trails with difficulties ranging from easy to strenuous ensure your pupper gets a proper workout no matter their activity level. The 2.5-mile Chaparral Trail winds around the lake and duck pond, then climbs to an elevation of 325 feet, giving way to breathtaking views of the city and Pacific Ocean.
