What: A family friendly event to boost senior pet adoptions in Los Angeles
When: Saturday, November 16th from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Wallis Annenberg Petspace is one of the most unique community spaces in the country, featuring an interactive place where people can learn about the animal/human bond and even adopt pets. It’s located in one of the pet-friendliest parts of Los Angeles: West LA.
In honor of November’s moniker as Senior Pet Adoption Month the facility is hosting an on-site senior pet adoption fair to try and find forever homes for some of the older dogs and cats at the facility. Not only will the organization have some of their own animals up for adoption, senior pets from Camp Golden Years and the County of Los Angeles Animal Care and Control will be available as well.
Along with dozens of sweet senior pets to interact with, attendees can participate in family-friendly activities, play games, enter to win prizes, and even enjoy some complementary food and drink! It’s totally free to attend.
Want to adopt on-site? Be sure to bring identification and enough cash to cover the nominal adoption fees.
