Looking for a way to burn off all that gravy? The 12th annual Thanksgiving day Rock ‘n’ Run is happening once again in Anaheim on the beautiful grounds of Yorba Regional Park.
For serious racers, there are USATF-certified 5k and 10k courses and a newly added 10 mile route as well. Aside from the serious courses, racegoers will find a Kids Run, a Tot Trot for small kids, and a new Dog Walk! After the races, attendees are invited to check out local stores, restaurants, and services represented at the Vendor Fair.

Be sure to register beforehand to score a reduced registration fee. All dogs entered in the Dog Walk will receive a race bandana and be automatically entered into the Cutest Dog and Best Dog Costume contests!
Remember that all entry fees go to a good cause. According to Rock ‘n’ Run, “Plymouth Rock ‘n’ Run is hosted by ResearchforCure, a 501(c)(3) charity that supports spinal cord injury research at the Reeve-Irvine Research Center (RIRC) at UC Irvine. Most of our event proceeds are paid directly to RIRC via ResearchforCure (tax ID/EIN #68-0478281 ). The remaining dollars are donated to athletic and scholastic programs at our local schools — organizations that very generously provide student volunteers to work the event and otherwise provide support.”
If that’s not worth waiting to eat for, what is?
