Timber is his own unique little guy! He has the biggest personality packed into one little body. He keeps us on our toes everyday. We adopted Timber from a shelter. He had been surrendered by the family who originally had purchased him from a breeder. He doesn’t like other dogs or other animals in generally, really. But he loves people.

Got as shelter dog LOVE HER to death

Best dog ever! She is so smart and has a ton of personality. Very loving and compassionate, but does not like most dogs. Especially dogs that are her size or smaller. She tolerates big dogs. Seems to love dogs of German descent.

Sophie is spoiled rotten. She is not full blooded, I think part yorkie. Definitely not fearless. She got the yorkie skittishness. Except when it comes to animals. She has a handful of people she likes, but really only loves the people who live here. She likes one other dog, my sister in law’s lab. She hates puppies and any other small dog. She tolerates most bigger dogs. She tries to attack my sister in law’s other dog, a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. She chases big dogs out of our yard, then prances back to us like she just saved our lives. She is incredibly intelligent. She does things that require critical thinking. She’s afraid of tunnels. Hates chlorinated water. Won’t get on a swimming pool. Loves the lake and ocean, though. Absolutely loves to chase small animals like birds and squirrel. She will not bother mice and rats though. We used to have a pet rat when we first got Sophie. Oodie, that rat, would lick Sophie’s nose and throw treats from her cage for Sophie to eat. So, she has a soft spot for them. Sophie pouted for a week when Oodie passed away a couple years ago. One of Sophie’s favorite places to go is Lowe’s. She jumps and cries if we even say the word Lowe’s around her. She’s super loving, when it comes to me, my wife, and her grandparents. She’s super jealous too. If I give my wife a kiss, she comes running to make sure she gets affection too. If someone gives us a hug, like my nephew, Sophie cries and runs at us wanting us to give her more affection than we have someone else. She is the pickiest eater. Won’t touch most dog foods. Will not eat the same meal more than 2 times in a row. We have changed our entire diet so that she just eats what we eat. Like I said starting our, spoiled.

Pearl had a hard time finding the right home. We are home #5 before she was 6 months. She has a high energy level so we spend a lot of time either at the dog park or exercising and hunting in the desert. Loves kayaking and swimming. Gets along great with my kids and grandkids and their dogs. When at the dog park I have to watch her close. She gets along with most dogs but she plays really rough so sometimes she has to be pulled away. I love her and she has filled a big void in my life! Only get a JAGD if you are willing to be active EVERY DAY!

This is a VERY smart dog. An athlete above all others. He is happy and an amazing protector.

Our terrier is a surrendered rescue we've only had a few months. She has asthma, but unless she has an attack, you wouldn't know. She has a massive amount of energy and is a spoiled diva princess! She loves to cuddle, she adores kisses, and covets treats. Not a huge fan of other dogs, she tends to get aggressive; wants to eat the neighbor's cat. She loves kids. A lot. However, she lost her little doggy mind when she realized I own a Python, I seriously thought she was going to keel over! She doesn't bother the snake anymore though, and mostly just wants tons of loves and cuddles.

Loki is a maniac but very lovable. He has a crazy-high pretty drive and climbs any tree he can looking for squirrels. When he gets into the hunting ‘zone’ he’s in another world and you really can’t get through to him at all. He loves cuddles and gives tonnes of kisses and does quite a few tricks. He’s very intelligent but independent enough to decide whether he wants to listen or not! He wants to get involved in any scrap at the dog park so he can’t be off the leash unfortunately but he loves to play with other dogs that can cope with his rough housing. He’s usually rougher than the other dogs in the park and loves to bring down the big ones! Probably harks back from his boar hunting roots.

she is a sweetheart. loves to cuddle and lay on the bed with us. loves car rides and hike. she does bark more than the average dog but gets along great with our Chihuahua. They even cuddle in a dog bed in the morning

Zeiss is such a busy pleasure! He gets along with my two GSPs and brings out the best in them. My one GSP is in her golden years and plays with Zeiss. It brings me so much joy. Zeiss is a mama’s boy and love cuddles, although he is not aggressive, he can get very jealous. He is a very clever boy and can do a few tricks, the last trick he learned was left and right paw- when I say “left” or “right” he gives the correct paw. He needs a lot of stimulation otherwise he gets creative (not in a good way). Zeiss listen to commands in general, but I struggle sometimes when he is “in the zone”. He loves car rides and sit on my lap the whole trip. He loves fruit! You know what they say about an apple a day... I noticed that he has HUGE teeth that is as big as the GSPs teeth. They bred these dogs with so much thought. I admire him. Huge paws (that bumps everything off), small eyes and ears, and even the way the play is different to other dogs. I absolutely adore him! He got me wrapped around his fluffy paw!

Loev love my babygirl Pepper Ann. Shes my bstefriend. Definitely does not like other dogs ( other than her own family roommates) I have to keep her on a leash or kenneled when she is outside.

First Jagd terrier , but have had Patterdale and Jack Russel terriers in the past
